Dayton Ohio Habitat for Humanity Accepting Housing Applications(Dayton, OH) Dayton Ohio Habitat for Humanity (DOHFH) will begin its next housing applicant round on Monday, June 11th. Families who are interested in being considered for housing in the Weaver Street and Clement Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue areas in Dayton are encouraged to call (937) 586-0860, ext. 21 to receive a housing application. All housing inquiries must be received by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 8, 2007 to qualify for the June housing application round. Applicants will be selected for the Habitat program based upon housing need, ability to pay a Habitat mortgage, and willingness to partner with the Habitat program. Dayton Ohio Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer-driven, non-profit Christian housing ministry that works in partnership with community partners and families in need to provide simple, decent, and affordable housing. Dayton Ohio Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing from Montgomery County by renovating or building houses, thus strengthening individuals, families, and neighborhoods through home ownership.
