Dayton Ohio Habitat for Humanity
Announces New Leadership at the Helm
(Dayton, OH) – Dayton Ohio Habitat for Humanity is pleased to announce that it has named Ann Charles Watts as Executive Director, Irene G. Warren as Development Director and Anna Marty as Volunteer Coordinator, three of the top leadership posts in the organization.
Ann Charles Watts has been named Executive Director, replacing Frank Gorman who has taken a position with Habitat for Humanity of Ohio’s state support organization. Ann Charles, formerly Executive Director for Athens County Habitat for Humanity, joined Dayton Habitat at the end of September. During her three years at Athens County Habitat, Watts was responsible for increasing annual home building from one to five homes a year, and nearly tripling their fundraising income. She also serves on the board of Habitat for Humanity of Ohio. Watts previously served two years with the United States Peace Corps in Paraguay and also worked as Communications Director for the Ohio Democratic Party in Columbus. A graduate of Ohio University, Magna Cum Laude, she and her husband, Jason Hillard reside in the Oregon District of Dayton.
Irene G. Warren has been named Development Director of Dayton Habitat for Humanity, responsible for all fundraising and public relations and marketing for the organization. Warren brings more than 20 years experience in fundraising and special event planning, including the development of annual giving programs and capital campaigns. She was previously the Director of Development for Greene County Combined Health District for eight years, and also served as Development Director for Franciscan Medical Center Foundation, and United Theological Seminary, and as the Assistant Alumni Director at the University of Dayton.

Warren currently is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Communication Department at Sinclair Community College. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Dayton. Warren and her husband, Dr. Mark Mamrack resides in Yellow Springs.
Anna Marty has been named Volunteer Services Coordinator for Dayton Habitat for Humanity. She joins the organization from her previous position as Development and Operations Manager for the Athens County Habitat for Humanity, where she was involved for the past two years in both development and fundraising, as well as coordinating volunteers to fulfill needs throughout all areas of the organization. Marty, who is a graduate of Ohio University, currently resides in the Oregon District of Dayton.
Dayton Ohio Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer-driven, non-profit Christian housing ministry that works in partnership with community partners and families in need to provide simple, decent, and affordable housing. Dayton Ohio Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing from Montgomery County by renovating or building houses, thus strengthening individuals, families, and neighborhoods through home ownership.
