2nd Annual Valentine’s Day Dance
To Support
Dayton Ohio Habitat for Humanity
On Friday, February 9th
(Dayton, OH) The 2nd Annual Valentine’s Day Dance to support Dayton Ohio Habitat for Humanity will be held on Friday, February 9th. The Dance will be held at the Dayton Masonic Center, 525 W. Riverview Avenue, Dayton, and festivities will begin at 7:30 p.m. Highlights of the evening include: music by the Gem City Jazz; Professional Dance Show; a Silent Auction; dance lessons; heavy hors d’oeuvres; and a chocolate fountain.
The proceeds will benefit the Dayton Ohio Habitat for Humanity 2007 Women Build House Project. This home will be built by women volunteers throughout the region. The groundbreaking for the 2007 home will occur in mid July. In 2006, the Valentine’s Day Dance raised over $16,000 to help fund the building of a home for Dayton resident, Angela Violet and her two small daughters. The goal of the 2nd Annual Valentine’s Day Dance is to raise over $20,000 to build another home for a deserving family.

Dayton Ohio Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer-driven, non-profit Christian housing ministry that works in partnership with community partners and families in need to provide simple, decent, and affordable housing. Dayton Ohio Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing from Montgomery County by renovating or building houses, thus strengthening individuals, families, and neighborhoods through home ownership.
