Congressman Turner Joins Women Build
Congressman Michael Turner (R, OH – 3) joined Dayton Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 4124 Klepinger Rd. in Harrison Township. Turner made an announcement regarding affordable housing program funding to benefit the Montgomery County community. As the Chairman of the Congressional House Urban Caucus, Turner has expressed a special interest in affordable housing. He thanked Habitat for the great impact they have on the community. Toye joined the group in the morning to build for a few hours after leaving work. As a single mother of two who works third shift, Toye was delighted by the work being done for her family and excited to work alongside the many volunteers on a beautiful August morning.
