In order to keep development costs low, Dayton Habitat accepts donations of property or houses in Montgomery County. Each site must be reviewed to comply with Habitat standards and guidelines as well as local building and zoning code requirements before a final decision is reached. The committee is typically able to give an answer within 30 days.
If you would like more information, or have property or a house you would like to donate, please call (937) 586-0860 ext. 12 and be prepared to share the following information:
- Name of property owner
- Complete property address (including city and zip code)
- Current tax information (fully paid, or outstanding)
- Any outstanding mortgages or liens on the property
