Free Construction Clinics
For women who want to build, but don't know where to start, Dayton Habitat and Lowe's have the answer. As the underwriter for Habitat for Humanity International's Women Build program, Lowe's is hosting how-to clinics at its Trotwood store to help prepare women volunteers to build a home with Vondeen Lloyd this July.
The free clinics not only teach women home construction basics, they provide extensive hands-on opportunities to practice these new skills. Each of the six clinics will help educate the volunteers on basic construction and tool safety techniques, enabling them to be confident and effective in their volunteer efforts with Habitat for Humanity.
Clinics will take place at Lowe's - Trotwood, 5252 Salem Ave, Trotwood, OH 45426.
At this time there are no clinics scheduled.
